The Inter-dimensional Heroes (Pilot)

Zelda gasped when she woke up on a bed. She looked around, and jumped when she saw a human-like…creature, staring intently at her. It then took on a more casual look, before she heard a voice in her head. “Are you okay?” The voice sounded concerned. She looked around, trying to figure out who said it, until she looked at the creature and said “Was that you?” “Yes. Now, are you okay?”
“I’m not sure. Do you know what happened to me?”
“Yes. I’m a Lucario. You somehow entered the world of Pokémon. And to satisfy your curiosity, it was me that ate you. I-”
“You ate me!?” Zelda said angrily. “Wh-“
Lucario cut her off. “I did it to save you. In fact, you were lucky I happened upon you. Practically every Pokémon here eats other Pokémon, and humans, if they get the chance. You were unguarded, and I couldn’t just leave you there. I’m like you; I can travel through dimensions. I knew you were important to your dimension, so I had to save you. The reason I ate you was because I had no other means of carrying you efficiently. So at the very least, you shouldn’t yell at me considering the fact that I saved your life!“ Lucario said, irritated.
Zelda sat up with her feet hanging off the bed. “Fine, sorry. But you couldn’t have told me why you were doing that?”
“You were unconscious! I had to make a split second decision, and yes, before you ask, I was honestly a little hungry. Happy?” he finished, irritated.
Zelda remained silent.
“Look, something is wrong with the fabric of the universe. Pokémon were never this hostile. But I only thought that it was my problem. Now, since it has apparently spread to your home, answer some of my questions. What was going on over in your dimension?”
“Well” Zelda began, “I was about to challenge the repeat offender, Ganondorf, when all of a sudden, a big purple vortex appeared, and a giant spiky turtle joined him, blasting me with some sort of dark power. I saw a bunch of smaller turtles exit, before I was knocked unconscious. Next thing I knew, I was waist-deep inside…you.”
“I know who that turtle is: it’s Bowser, the Koopa King. And if he’s in this, then that must mean the Mario Bros. are affected too. We need to move. And I’ll explain everything when we get there.” He said in response to Zelda’s questioning look.
So without further ado, the unlikely duo set out to travel to the Mushroom Kingdom. After Lucario packed his provision of Sitrus, Lum, and his personal favorite, Watmel berries, they set of to the Worldcore, where they jumped to Mario’s dimension.

“What a great day, isn’t it old bean? Especially considering the fact that Bowser and his minions are gone, and the Princess is fine.” Toadsworth was saying to Mario as he and Luigi were walking to Princess Peach’s room.

Princess Peach was sitting at her table in her room, drinking tea while waiting for Mario, Luigi, and Toadsworth, when she averted her eyes as a multicolored flash filled her room. As the light died down, she saw, emerging from the center, Lucario and a mysterious girl. Peach stood up, bowed, and said, “What a pleasure it is for you to visit, Lucario” He bowed to her in return, saying, “So it is, but these are hardly pleasant times. I-“ he was cut off as Toadsworth, Luigi, and Mario came barreling into the room. Panting, he said “Princess! We saw a flash and came as fast as we could. What-“ He cut himself off as he beheld Lucario and Zelda. Calming down, he said “Ah, Master Lucario. How are you old chap? And who might you be, young lady?” “My name is Zelda. I’m from Hyrule” Zelda replied. “Ah, so Miss Zelda, from Hyrule. Can’t say I’ve been there, or even heard of it. But may I inquire as to why you’re here? He asked politely. “Sure, but I’ll let Zelda start.” Lucario then beckoned to Zelda to start speaking.
Zelda stood up, and said ”Since some people in this room haven’t been to Hyrule, I shall start with my country’s history. In the year…” Zelda then went into a lengthy explanation of what has transpired through the years at Hyrule, chronologically following the timeline, as only a native of Hyrule would know. She then told of her current predicament, finishing with “…and so then Bowser and Ganondorf teamed up, knocked me unconscious, and sent me to the Pokémon world, where Lucario found me. He then took me here, and here we are now, discussing my reason for being here.” Lucario then added, “I think it’s a safe bet that Bowser and Ganondorf are now recruiting more people. We need to start our own army. Zelda, can you go grab Yoshi? He’s a big green dinosaur on an island near the southern peninsula. Peach, go with her. Toadsworth and Mario, go grab Red from the Pokémon world. Luigi, grab Prof. E. Gadd and as many ghosts as you can. I’ll head over to Pop Star, as I’m the only one who can actually reach it, and grab Kirby and Meta Knight, maybe a few Cappies. Now, let’s MOVE! We need to beat Bowser. Meet back here tomorrow.” And with that, everyone raced off to do as they were told. Little did they know that they were recruiting against the growing dark menace that was to be Bowser, Ganondorf, Giovanni, and Max.
